Meet and Greet Consultation
We invite you to engage in a meet-and-greet consultation. Considering your physical and mental well-being, we will dedicate time to comprehensively understand your motives for seeking therapy. Our discussion will center on your objectives and anticipated outcomes from the treatment, with our approach specifically tailored to align with your requirements. Your comfort and confidence in the therapeutic process are paramount to us. If our therapist may not be the most suitable match for you, we are more than willing to offer referrals to other professionals who may be better suited to address your concerns. Your input and preferences regarding your therapist are highly valued, and we are committed to accommodating your requests to ensure that you receive the necessary support.

Duration and frequency of sessions
We typically arrange weekly 50-minute sessions to ensure consistent progress in therapy. However, we are adaptable and open to modifying session frequency or duration to accommodate your needs. The treatment plan, which encompasses session frequency and duration, will be comprehensively discussed during our initial consultation and reviewed as necessary throughout your therapy journey. Establishing a regular time and day for sessions can facilitate a structured routine and bolster your progress. While regular attendance is vital, we recognize life's unpredictability and are prepared to collaborate with you to find suitable solutions when regular sessions are unfeasible.

Private Health Insurance
We suggest contacting your insurer for information on private health coverage to understand your benefits comprehensively. Our practice accepts insurance plans from reputable providers such as Blue Cross, Great-West Life, Manulife, and SunLife. Moreover, we also offer direct billing services with Canada Life, Blue Cross, and Green Shield for added convenience. Familiarizing yourself with the specifics of your insurance coverage can streamline the billing process and allow you to optimize the benefits available for therapy services. Should you require assistance or clarification concerning your coverage, don't hesitate to contact your insurance provider or our team. We are committed to assisting you in navigating the insurance procedures and ensuring you receive the necessary care.

Fees for Service
Please note that psychotherapy services are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) unless provided by a psychiatrist or a general practitioner MD conducting psychotherapy. Our clinic's fees are consistent with the current mid-range rates in Toronto. Your therapist will discuss the charges during the intake interview and notify you of any changes to the agreed-upon fee. We endeavor to provide cost-effective psychotherapy services to our clients; however, please be advised that HST does not apply to these services. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding fees or billing, please do not hesitate to seek clarification and assistance.

How to Pay
Mental health service payments are due after each session, and a receipt will be furnished upon payment. Retaining this receipt for potential insurance claims or tax purposes is advisable, if applicable. If seeking reimbursement from an insurance provider, submitting the receipt after each session as directed is recommended. With a prompt receipt issuance, payment can be made using cash, credit card, debit card, e-transfer, or check after your session. Our objective is to facilitate a convenient and transparent payment process for our clients, and we are available to address any inquiries or concerns regarding payment methods or receipts.
